Jay Dryden
is a Houston-based editorial and event photographer. Years ago he caught the photography bug with his father’s Nikon F3 while earning his Photography merit badge.
These days he enjoys photographing live music performances for work, and coral reefs and sharks for fun. He has the pleasure of working with a talented mix of musicians and other artists, print and online media companies, entertainment/promotion companies, and music labels.
His work has appeared in print in The Houston Chronicle, The Austin American-Statesman, 29-95 Magazine, Texas Music Magazine, and The San Antonio Express; and online in New York Magazine, The Daily Mail UK, The Houston Chronicle, and The Houston Press.
Jay is a member of the American Society of Media Photogaphers and Nikon Professional Services.
A down-to-earth guy, he finds writing about himself in the third person to be oddly pretentious.
